Single origin, wild grown, delicate Wakame Flakes (dried edible seaweed), from the clean and pristine waters of Storm Bay, Tasmania.
This seaweed is gently hand harvested- artisan style, which has a positive environmental impact as it is considered an invasive species in the Tasman Sea.
A superfood with high nutritional value and many health benefits that can be added to salads, stir-fries, soups, broths and other savoury dishes – note that a little goes a long way, generally 1g per person is ideal for most dishes.
To rehydrate, put into water for a few seconds, or add to a soup just before serving. They can also be fried in hot oil for a few seconds to crisp.
