Ingredients
1 C flour
½ C sugar
¾ t baking powder
½ t salt
¼ t baking soda
1 C blueberries
⅔ C buttermilk
2 T butter, melted
1 t vanilla extract
¼ t almond extract
1 egg
¼ C sliced almonds
1 T brown sugar
¼ t cinnamon

Preheat oven to 175. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl and add ⅔ C of the blueberries. Gently mix. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk, butter, extracts and egg and stir with a whisk for a minute or so. Add this wet mixture to the dry and gently stir just until the flour mixture is moist all over. Spoon batter into a baking pan coated with cooking spray. Top with the remaining blueberries. Combine almonds, brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle this over the blueberries to finish. Bake for about 35 minutes.
