Central to Shiralee’s values is a desire to provide an ethical, healthy and sustainable way of producing, farming and eating. Due to the nature of Organic production, there are occasions such as drought where they are unable to source Certified Organic produce. In these cases, Shiralee ensures the livestock are raised in the most humane way, grown using regenerative practices on pastures where there are no chemicals used. Animals are never given hormones or unnecessary routine antibiotics.
Due to the recent drought, a consistent supply of Certified Organic Pork in NSW has been very difficult to find. Shiralee is proud to source theirs from Melanda Park farm-whose pigs are born, lovingly raised and kept outside throughout their entire lives, free to exhibit natural behaviours and interact with other pigs while they enjoy access to pasture 365 days a year.
All orders you place this week will be cut, weighed and packed by Shiralee the following Monday (excluding public holidays). They are delivered to us that very same day, before being sent out to you that week. This product is best before 10 days from packing date. Best before dates are labelled on each product. Please keep in mind that all product weights are approximate and may vary slightly.
