Kehoe's Kitchen has been created by couple Katrina and Brenden in Brisbane. It began as a food blog and social media platform for Katrina, proud Wiradjuri descendant and consulting structural engineer, while she was on maternity leave, and driven by health issues and food intolerances in their family. Recognising the positive impact of dietary changes on their well-being, Katrina established social media pages to share their journey and recipes. Facing economic uncertainty during the global financial crisis, Katrina's foresight led to the expansion of their venture into drop shipping appliances and utensils, along with setting up a market stall. As interest grew, they ventured into writing a cookbook, and Brenden supported Katrina by taking leave to care for their children. This marked a turning point when Katrina presented plans to convert their home into a certified commercial kitchen. From that moment, Kehoe's Kitchen evolved, expanding facilities, building relationships with local farmers and retailers, and providing employment opportunities while quitting their day jobs. The journey included overcoming challenges, designing new facilities, and fostering a thriving business.
